Since the day that India Attained freedom on 15th August 1947 the country has been struggling to meet the challenges being faced by a nation with a very large population and the shortage of resources brought about by the systematic looting carried out by the British Government. Initially there was shortage of food and other infrastructural resources along with housing for the general population. The successive governments set about tackling the problems one by one. Shortage of housing was also one of these problems but was not a high priority one compared to that of food shortages. Development in the country was slow and the larger metro cities developed before other cities. Faridabad is one such city attached to Delhi which is now in the phase of development.  The country has also now developed to a stage when it can concentrate on provision of housing.  The Central Government has now launched a scheme to provide 20 million houses (flats) by the end of 2024.

Aagman in sector 70 is the first high rise residential project under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna by the Agrasain Spaces LLP a construction company active in Faridabad offering 1BHK, 2 BHK and 3 BHK affordable flats in Faridabad.  Aagman is built on a total project area of 5.33 acres and has a total number of 12 towers of 14 floors each. The carpet area of the flats ranges from 425 sq. ft to 629 sq. Ft. The project is well under construction and is scheduled to be delivered by 2023 (in two years). The project has 720 residential flats in Faridabad in all and the project is ready to move and already occupied.

The builders and promoters of the project have provided all the necessary facilities/amenities in Aagman sector 70. The towers are earthquake proof, there is a rainwater harvesting system installed. Lifts in the towers are backed by round the clock power back up. There are paved streets and street lighting. Water is available 24 hours a day. There is a central garden with pathways and a kid’s play area. Round the clock security and a multipurpose court for badminton or volleyball and many more make the life in the complex comfortable. They have also provided a small commercial section having shops to cater to the daily needs of the residents of the society.

The location of the project is very close to the IMT in sectors 68 and 69 which is being developed as a major industrial hub.  It is 16 kms from the Faridabad Badarpur border and is well connected by the Delhi Metro Service to the Capital. The nearest Metro station is located at Ballabgarh which is just 7 minutes ride by road. The project has the Sarvodaya Hospital just less than 10 minutes away to provide the health care facilities and many schools like the Faridabad Convent School to provide the schooling facilities needed for the kids of the residents of the society.

The price of the flats in Aagman sector 70 is currently in the range of 14 lacs to 28 lacs depending on the size of the flat.  There is a subsidy also available under the PMAY scheme of 2. 67 lacs for genuine first time end users of these flats.
